I graduated from the University of Colorado, and then spent several years working in real estate in Colorado. During this time, I competed in the professional whitewater kayaking circuit and made my first trip to Costa Rica with my sponsor and teammates in 1999. I have been living ‘where the grass is greener’ ever since. When I discovered the pristine South Pacific region of Costa Rica, I found my destiny and the place my dreams would manifest into reality. During the past six years of living and working in the Dominical area, I have acquired an in depth knowledge of available properties and Costa Rican law, as well as solidified integral relationships within the local community.

John spends his year between Costa Rica and Lindstrom, Minnesota. From 1993-2007, John was the exclusive agent marketer of two sold out waterfront developments for high end builder Bruggeman Homes, while at the same time operating a successful lakeside restaurant – the Dinnerbel Dining Room and Peninsula Bar.

He first came to Costa Rica 13 years ago and immediately fell in love with the beauty of the country and its people. For the first 8 years he explored all areas of the country, each visit longer than the last. After visiting the Southern zone and the Domical, Uvita areas he felt as though he’d come home.

I am a Costa Rican native and have been working in real estate in various capacities for eight years. I am certified by the CCCBR (Costa Rican Chamber of Realtors) and currently working as a Travel/Tour Coordinator and Office Manager in our Dominical office. When not working, I am usually playing soccer. The combination of work and play has brought great benefits to me in my life and I continue to work toward achieving a healthy balance.

Being a local has given me the opportunity to explore the region and become a specialist in real estate, rentals, property management, and office management. I have experienced many positive life changes in this area and my family and I are proud to belong to this place we call paradise.

A native of Sun Valley, Idaho, I spent most of my time in the west from Mammoth Lakes, to Tahoe City, CA. With my focus on International Business, Spanish, and Marketing, I am a graduate of the University of Nevada, Reno. I also have my Real Estate Sales Agent license in the state of Idaho.

I first came to Costa Rica in 2005 studying Spanish as a foreign exchange student. I immediately fell in love with Costa Rica, it’s culture, and the “pura vida” life-style. It was then when I realized that Costa Rica was truly unique and the place I wanted to call come. Soon after, I packed up my truck and drove down to Costa Rica. Seeking a place where jungle covered mountains meet the sea, I settled in Dominical.
